It is with relief that we are able to inform the public that
David Leonard Martin has finally been apprehended. He has been wanted since
June 28th, 2015 for his participation in a robbery and aggravated assault
in Richmond, BC. He was sighted in Cedar Point in August and subsequently
became an accomplice in an armed robbery and assault at Chen’s Supermarket.
Before he was apprehended he committed a third aggravated assault in the
Kingfisher lighthouse where it is believed he was in hiding since the incident
at Chen’s. Martin will be held in Cedar Point until he is transferred to the
British Columbia Penitentiary to reside an await trials. The Cedar Point Police
Department thanks the residents for their patience and cooperation during this
stressful time.
